Training and Education Development
These days, more and more learning is taking place outside of the traditional, instructor-led classroom. By definition, all eLearning courses provide self-paced instruction, available 24/7. But such courses are often nothing more than passive lectures or static PowerPoint slides. With DIF’s ability to accept so many asset types, you can create engaging, immersive, and relevant training courses for ‘digital natives’ who have high expectations of all things digital. At the same time, DIF’s intuitive interface is appropriate for training those learners who are less tech savvy.
Design Courseware
Using the Course
Designer, trainers and instructional designers outline the
structure of a course, based on learning objectives.
Create and Leverage Existing Assets
Graphic artists, video
producers, writers, and interactive programmers create media
assets using commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software like
PowerPoint, Photoshop, Illustrator, Unity, NGRAIN®, Flash®, Final
Cut Pro, Captivate and Storyline. DIF accepts virtually any media
type.
Develop Course
Instructional designers and
content developers can use DIF to produce engaging courseware
using the appropriate blend of interactive content, including
video and audio, interactive infographics, multi-learner
simulations, 2D & 3D animations, and gaming.
Collaborate
Relevant personnel work collaboratively, through the cloud,
on the development, review, and distribution of courseware.
Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) can review and add comments, while
artists, programmers, and media specialists create and modify
assets.
Integrate
Once your course development is
complete, DIF can package it for distribution on a variety of
platforms. Produce SCORM-compliant course modules that can be
easily integrated into any Learning Management System (LMS).
Manage & Reuse Assets
A central repository houses all
content and media assets. Here, they can be maintained,
organized, updated, and reused for other courses.
Ensure
Secure Access and Asset Maintenance
Users login to the DIF
server and database through a secure website. Based on a user’s
role, they can author and modify courses, review courses in
production, and/or check out media assets to revise and update
content.
DIF makes it easy for non-programmers to create courseware that includes virtually any type of media assets. We recognize, however, that there is an art to creating media-rich courses that will truly engage your learners. Working together with your subject matter experts and instructional designers, they are available to design and produce educational and storytelling media assets for your courseware and can even author full courses for you.
